2011 Volunteer Commitments – Green Oaks Gators

The swim team depends upon each family volunteering during the season in the following ways:

  • Accepting ONE committee assignment.

  • Participating at swim meets. 
    • One swimmer = 4 MEET JOBS
    • Two or more swimmers = 6 MEET JOBS.
    • Stroke Judge shifts will count as 2 meet jobs.

  • Participating in 2 "mini jobs" at the practice meet on Tuesday evening, May 31st.

  •  If your child is participating in prelims and finals, you must also accept a meet job at these events.  These responsibilities will be assigned later in the season. 
PLEASENOTE:

 The Meet Job Schedule will be posted to the Green Oaks Swim Team Website and may be changed at any time.
It is your responsibility to review volunteer assignment before each meet. If you cannot fulfill your meet/job responsibility, you MUST find a substituteSubstitutes must be at least 18 years old or a certified lifeguard.  No shows will be billed $30 per shift.

You may hire a paid substitute.  Paid subs must be 18 or older or be alifeguard.  The cost per shift is $25 and the swim team reps are NOT responsible for getting subs paids.  You must contract with any subs separately and pay them.
